Jackson 5 To Reunite...No, Seriously...
Apparently the Jackson 5 might be going on tour some time in 2008. While this is certainly suprising, I think the big question is "does anyone really care?" I know I don't.
I am amused, though.

No Audio Fossils Tonight....
As I said in last week's show, there will be no Audio Fossils show tonight. Instead, you can enjoy our delicious Beatles Thanksgiving programming that is going on all day. If you have any questions or comments, you can send an email to wrgp AT fiu.edu. Enjoy!

Langerado Announces Kick-Ass Line-up...
Langerado has announced their line-up for their 2008 festival, taking place March 6-9, and it looks pretty badass. Amongst many other artists, some of the highlights (for me, at least) include Beastie Boys, Thievery Corporation, Gov't Mule, Medeski Scofield Martin and Wood, Les Claypool, Umphrey's McGee, The Disco Biscuits, and Keller Williams. I'm disappointed by the lack of Trey Anastasio appearance, but I'll just have to deal with it.
Admittedly, it seems they're falling victim to a bit of an "identity crisis," as is very easy to do with an established music festival that keeps trying to out-do itself from the previous year. I can't help but scratch my head and wonder "what's with the hip-hop artists?," not that I'm complaining, of course.
Another item to note is that it will be held in the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation, leaving its previous home of Markham Park in Sunrise. I don't think it'll make much of a difference for those of us in Miami as far as the commute goes. Personally, it'll be cool to check out the place where Phish held one of its festivals, leading to the biggest traffic jam the country has ever seen.

The Australian Pink Floyd Show December 1st at the Filmore
The Australian Pink Floyd show is coming to the Filmore at the Jackie Gleason Theatre in Miami Beach on December 1st. From what I'm told and from what I've heard, this is basically the most immaculate Pink Floyd cover band that you'll ever hear. I'll be giving out tickets on my show, so make sure to tune in.
Sorry for the lack of updates as of late. The "real world realm" has been keeping me busy, but I should be back to updating on a regular basis soon.
